Tasco Auto Color wins again
Houston, TX: Tasco Auto Color was recognized during the annual PPG Platinum Distributors Conference, Feb 22-24 at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, NV as the 2016 PPG Platinum Distributor of the Year. David Abrahams, President, and Lee Martinez, Vice President, of Tasco Auto Color accepted the honor on behalf of the company. This is the first time that any PPG Platinum Distributor has won the award twice. Tasco Auto Color won the award the first time in 2005.
During the convention Tasco Auto Color also took home awards for 2016 National Sales Achievement Award, Million Dollar Club, and 2016 PPG Platinum Distributor Plus.
Tasco Auto Color started as a single auto parts store in Houston, TX in May of 1953 and added automotive paint to their offering in 1955. In 1983, Tasco Auto Color started distributing the PPG line of automotive finishes. The first paint only store opened in Austin, TX in September of 1990. In 1995, Tasco Auto Color sold off the auto parts stores allowing them to focus solely on automotive finishes. Since then Tasco Auto Color has expanded further in Texas and entered the Louisiana and Tennessee markets and has been setting the standard for distribution of refinish coatings to the auto body repair industry ever since.
Carrying on the core culture instilled by it’s founder, Tom Ferguson, Tasco Auto Color differentiates itself by always putting its client’s needs before its own.
